May Sewage Pollution in South West England

May 1st has been and gone, and the Environment Agency’s models are up and running. They are currently advising against bathing at numerous beaches around the coast of Devon and Cornwall:

The forecast rain has now arrived:

Despite the recent long dry spell, so has the apparently inevitable sewage pollution:

Despite the lack of an Environment Agency pollution risk warning to that effect, there is currently ongoing sewage pollution at Plymouth in Devon.
There is also another ongoing combined sewer overflow activation at Seaton in Cornwall:
